Whats up nigs

Great to be back . I light my Don Felos and CAO Brazilias all the time with a cheap Bic lighter and I dont notice any ill effects. No off flavors or anything.

I have also used matches and an actual cigar lighter and it tastes the same.

I think its all just Cigar Afficionado reading douchebag types who push this nonsense that you need a fancy Xikar lighter or whatever **** they are selling just to light your **** cigar

But you're lighting yard gars with a bic, so that's ok.

Fine cigars, you should probably use a torch... because torches are better.

lol, there's cheap torches dude... I don't think I've ever spent more than 20 bucks on a torch.

Torches are better for lighting and for touching up burn lines.

I use bics when playing golf cause if you lose them, no big deal... but when I'm chillin, torch is the way to go.

Just so you know, a $10 to $15 torch and a $5 can of butane will outlast 40 bics... do the math.

I'm a big fan of those made in france DJEEP disposables.
Good flame, no taste and cheap (less than $2). Lose em , who cares.

I like my old Zippo with the liquid Naptha fuel....adds great flavor to my smokes, and talk about cheap, I've had the lighter 20 some odd years and the fluid lasts forever....8-[

Someone here a decade ago pointed out that when they toured a cigar factory in Cuba the people working there just used bics...

Bic fuel is odorless. The butane in the torch lighters is odorless... I actually believe both use butane.

As long as you don't use a Zippo...

When I fly in somewhere, and don't want a torch lighter confiscated at the security check-point, I'll buy a BIC upon arrival...hard to find the cheap plastic torches.... the BIC does not toast the foot well but it does the job lighting the cigar and will last for a two week trip...

Torches are superior to BICs if there is any wind, to do touch-ups on crooked burns, and to light the cigar quickly.

BIC! All day, and every day!

Went through a half-dozen high-end lighters, a Ronson torch Z sent, and watched others go through the "high altitude" lighters. All failed after a few days or weeks.

From what I hear, a lot of things malfunction at high altitudes.
