Now that it's getting chilly here in the northeast, I'm trying to figure out a strategy for smoking in the house w/o my wife killing me. She once told me that she liked the smell of cigars and I tried convincing her that she would enjoy me smoking in the house, but that didn't work. Any thoughts from the the cigar smoking experts? Trying not to have to buy a space heater for the garage! Thanks.

Grow some balls maybe? If you need some balls I will ask my wife if I can borrow mine to mail to you. She will have to dig em out of her purse so it might take a day or two to get em there.

Seriously though, buy the damn space heater. If you like your wife's cooking, like having clean draws (assuming she does the laundry), and most importantly if you like getting that puss from time to time.

Second, if your wife is like mine she does not go into the garage often so, it makes for a peaceful place for me to get away, be comfortable and focus on my cigar and drink of choice. In the long run the space heater is well worth the cost to keep the wife happy and to give you a place to sit, smoke, drink at your leisure. So quit being a tight ass and get the damn thing already.

Since you’re in the northeast, come on down to my place. My wife has no problem with cigars in the house.

I'm in the minority likely, but I don't like smoking indoors.
In winter, which isn't much on the southern Oregon coast, I smoke smaller cigars, and don't smoke much at night

Warm jacket, propane heater on da porch does the trick for me.
But if it gets in the 30s..........eh......too cold and a cigar doesn't taste right to me.

Not too far from me, tho. Don't smoke in the house- you will stink the place up and dirty up everything including you lungs from second hand smoke. If you are that hooked, go the garage route or smoke coronas or cigarillos. Or you could smoke a small bowl pipe. It's a bit colder in winter where I live.

Bullschit........if you keep your smoking room clean this isn't a problem at all.I smoke in our den all the time, leather furniture of course. No one would ever know i smoked in there unless I told them.Second hand smoke is a scare tactic, but if real at all pertains to cigarette smoking only with all the chemicals involved. But if you want to believe that natural tobacco has a second hand effect that is your prerogative.

Buy a Val6 heater. Smoke outdoors and stay warm.

I'm right there with you... Got my rocking chair in the garage with a heating pad and a space heater... If it's under 30, I use a blanket... I think the suggestions to man up are cute... If you can't handle cold weather, no amount of being a d*ck to your wife is getting you your card back....
