If you run across stogies that taste of ammonia or smell of ammonia just dry box em for a bit then put them in your humidor and call it a day. That way you not sitting there with your herf buddies while they are enjoying a good smoke like normal people, you are sitting over in the corner with your cigar looking like you are trying to give it a backwards BJ. As for "dry boxing", that means to put the cigar in a place of lower humidity for a short period, typically, I would suggest 55-65% rH, some guys keep an extra humidor at a lower Rh, just for this purpose. I have a really nice travel humidor that came in the Saints and Sinners Club 2018 kit. I have been using that for dry-boxing. You might have to leave them in for a week or so, based on their current rH.
