...is boring. I watched Orlando dominate last week. It doesn't surprise me that they will be very good considering that their coach is Steve Spurier. Anyhow, this is like a second tier, small college match-up

If it can become a true developmental league that serves as an alternative to the college requirements it will have my support.

I don't see this league lasting, skill level is just too far below the NFL and college has more tradition behind it. I mean is any team ever going to bring Trent Richardson back? If the NFL put some money into it and made it a true developmental league then probably would work.

I’m all for these new leagues and will watch and support it. Every other sport has minor/foreign leagues where players can show their abilities and make a salary (CFL notwithstanding). I wish the talent level was a bit better, with fringe players they should have some better names out there than they currently do. The heads of the league have some tv backing and claim they will invest a fortune in the next few years, so I really do hope it sticks around and progresses to a better quality league that could serve the purpose the old NFL Europe/WLAF served.
