I get his point, but why does he seem so butt hurt? He must have stock in non cc's...I figure the labeling, boxing and banding changes are in preparation for legal sales in the US, cc companies thinking it's gonna happen soon... my 2 cents.

I have seen interviews with Pete Johnson where he comes right out and says he stole names and sizes from cuban labels and discontinued cuban cigars. While I think it is a lack of creativity the cigar industry seems to do it everywhere. For instance, I just saw a diesel hair of the dog sale and those were an AJ blend back a few years ago that got discontinued and is now magically back with a new band and AJ is long gone from CI. This is some reason why I believe that the cigar industry does need some regulation, because right now it is like the wild west in the industry with no rules or ethics.

WEll chit, I watched the vid and only one thing he said that woke me up. "People forget about what is important, The cigar"

Sad to say I did not make it through long enough to see the review of the cigar. I made it to where he shut up long enough to take the label off Thank God. The excitement was killing me. I kept watching and watching thinking OH Chit hes going to burn the label. Started yelling at the PC monitor. THE LABEL FOOL THE LABEL, TAKE IT OFF NOW!

It was like watching Halloween the movie again. No Biatch, NOOOOOO Dont go into the woods!

Is there the slightest possibility that cigars is a business selling a competitive commodity product and the entire program is above all else, profit motivated. I have a hard time imagining any cigar manufacturer, save the odd purist (and they tend to be a small minority in most things) spending as much time dreaming about making the perfect cigar as he does dreaming about having the best selling cigar that can demand a profit margin far in excess of what most cigars get. Sometimes we humans tend to romanticize, desiring to see the virtues we wish existed in the world around us. For most people, PRIDE is not nearly as great a motivator as FEAR and GREED. To find what's behind an action, Follow the Money. Please note that there is nothing wrong with that. It is what drives capitalism.

WHO GIVES A **** IF HE COPIED CUBAN BRANDS?! Piss on CUBA! SIZES? LOL, like they have a COPYRIGHT on a certain size. WTF! Cubans are a rip off anyway. Smoked a pack of 3 of the 6.1" x 50 Montecristo Double Edmundo gotten in Paris for some crazy price like 50 euros. C.A. named it the No.1 cigar of the year a few years back I think. It was NO BETTER, or not even as good as Monte Epic or Monte Platinum, which you can get here for three bucks.

Naw that is impossible. I mean if that was the case, cigars would be expensive. [gonzo]
