I've always wanted to be able to play an instrument.
Sure, I've read "skin flute for dummies" by teedubya.

But now I'm looking for something more serious.

I always thought guitar would be good. I could play songs while camping. But after 20 years of camping I've heard too many old guys ruining the night with their songs.

And piano would be great.
I could become a virtuoso and people would say things like "that tailgater sure is great on the piano. But I hear he sucks on the organ."

But's lets be real.
It's not very portable.

So I'm left with no alternative.

Anyone know where to get lessons for the keytar?

In hell... Right after steel drum class and right before bagpipe training...

Bagpipe training.
There's three weeks I'll never get back.
At least I learned to walk right after a few months.

You know why bagpipers march when they play, right?

Whoa.

Seems like an awful lot of justification on your part just to be able to present us with your love of the keytar.
Understandably, it's not exactly a that manly of an instrument.

Maybe you should take a little more time to accept it yourself and become comfortable with it before you just throw it out there.

What's to get comfortable about?

I'll be tickling the ivories as they lie across my groinal region.

Uncomfortable is fine, if that's your thang

There are a lot more uncomfortable things you could do with it...

It's not the most exciting but pick up a Hohner Blues Band Harmonica in C. You can take it anywhere and it's not too hard to get reasonably competent on it. 🌫

You're right. That would be inconsiderate.

BTW - mine's named Flipper.
