How do you confuse a conservative? You don't. They are born that way.

Make them listen to Lizzie Warren, Bernie Sanders, and AOC discuss farting cows, free college, and free health care for everyone...whether they want to work or not to get it...😕

also... careful on that "born that way" crap spey... If one were to actually be able to prove that they are born conservative, and not due to a lack of information or an overabundance of fear due to poor knowledge, we may have to actually identify them as a protected class and stop making fun of them.

How come we only get Cliff Clavin when the joke is making fun of something or someone on the left?

You don't think my "careful on the 'born that way'" statement wasn't cliff clavin enough?

I literally said we may have to stop making fun of them.

Ok... ok... at dstieg's request...

Spey... that's simply not accurate. A large percentage of conservatives (probably up to 98.2% of them) are not easily confused from birth. These people are born just like any liberal, or other non-politically affiliated person who didn't vote for trump. However, either during their upbringing, or through their education they were not exposed to new ideas and as such operate in a manner which people who are different, or ideas which don't fit with what they consider "common knowledge" (frequently incorrect facts) scare them. This fear leads to poor decision making and confusion.

So be nicer spey... point out that if it weren't for their education and/or upbringing, these conservatives might have been normal, worthwhile humans.

You're also using random capitalization and emojis like a 13 year old. So I'm gonna go with butthurt. Sorry you misspelled a word while trying to be sarcastic about intelligence. Maybe next time?

hmmmm...I thought that Trump and his followers would understand "frequently incorrect facts" totally...he kinda owns that subterfuge, having singlehandedly transformed/trashed this country's expectation to hear the truth and be told the facts by its leaders...

remember Kellyanne Conway famously stating to a reporter on the very first day that we will get "alternative facts" from Trump?

guess RMAN didn't get the tweet or have his AM radio turned on that day...

odd how cons like to poke fun at libs, but take offense when the shoe is on the other foot...

besides..."conservative thoughts" is a non sequitur...the very definition of the first word precludes the use of the second word in conjunction...

Thank You again Mr. Clavin...now I really feel foolish8-[ ....I'm glad we have someone of your superior intellect to show me the error of my ways...what would you do with your time if there weren't so many of us for you to correct with your vast knowledge and superior upbringing.....:-k ...maybe go out into the world and make some friends...ooops, I'm not going to say that, that would make me sound butthurt, and might make you appear to be correct...Again, laughing at YOU, not with you!

Oh, look a worshipper in the Church of Clavin....now I really really feel foolish...:^o

No it isn't noob!!! But you are proving Victor's hypothesis to be correct. Being conservative is a state of mind, not necessarily a political affiliation. Victor, while I follow your point, I do think genetics are at play also. When breeders meet at family reunions there will be a likelihood that recessive unwanted Genes are reproduced.
