Dunno if any of you read Irvine Welsh's novel Filth...
Once you get past the scottish accent the entire book is written in, it's a hell of a novel... basically about a borderline (or not so borderline) psychotic policeman who really does some of the most misanthropic things you can think of. This article reminded me of the book... it'd almost fit right in.
