Woohoo! My oldest Son Gavin caught his first fish today! 5years old, I have taken him a handful of times since last year and tried a new place to go today and he caught two baby bluegill! Hopefully he will want to go more now since he actually caught one finally!! Father/son tournaments here we come!

I'm guessing the little lad will remember his first catch the rest of his life. I remember mine from approximately 63 years ago. Hopefully this will be the foundation for many more outings for you and Gavin.

I sure hope so, I remember going often with my dad, and the local tournaments that we did, I wish he was still around so he could share in this moment with me. But sadly he passed at 49 years old when I was 17. In a few years my youngest (1 year old) will be joining us too hopefully.
