I’m fairly new to cigars and brand new to cigarbid. This site has been my new addiction. Anyway, looking for recommendations from seasoned vets of sticks to try. Here is a bit about me to help with any suggestions.

I’m strictly a robusto smoker, yes that limits me but I don’t have time for larger sticks and really don’t want to fool with smaller. I’m also a light smoker, maybe 1 a week if I’m lucky....

So far I like what I have tried, actually haven’t really had a terrible smoke but RP vintage 90 probably my fav. Like partagas black, AB black market Esteli, ok with AB tempest, AF opus x lost city, really enjoyed San cristoble Elegancia.

I’m thinking I’m just all over the place with strength/body. What say you, what robustos should I bid/try next. Thanks!

Too many cigars............too little time. Try ones you haven't had.

Everything I would say is a personal opinion and there are many different opinions here so there is not one set answer. Id say if you liked the Fuente there are many other good ones of theirs to check out that are more budget friendly.

................and don't worry about double posts. No excuses.

Try everything you can. Samplers are a good way to go. But, for the first year or so do NOT stock up on the cigars you like now. There's a very good chance that your palate will change over time and you will no longer enjoy your current favorites.

Thanks you all for the responses. Looks like sampler packs might be the way to go. I’m also going to venture out of my comfort zone with different sizes besides robusto (my commitment to robustos was due to time and because that’s what the pros at local cigar shop told me to stick with) now to answer all the introduction questions

1. I was told to say French Toast (but I prefer proteins for breakfast not much on pancakes waffles or toast)
2. Yes I enjoy long walks, beach, woods, anywhere but the city
3. Daisy
4. Yes to camping by the river or anywhere for that matter. I prefer to rough it. Do lots of primitive camping. Not into Brokeback Mountain camping....
5. Cello on
6. Ginger, but on a deserted island I’d take either
7. Van Halen not VanHagar
8. ?
9. Never been to any prison but I am married and do work for a living
10. Don’t watch many movies or much tv
11. Dogs
12. Women
13. Fold, and I ball my socks

Don't limit yourself to one size...…...try some of them sticks you like in smaller ring gauges and you might be pleasantly surprised.Thats like limiting yourself to only blondes..........have a little red head or brunnette action occasionally.My faves are Asians and 40 rg up thru about 50 with the corona gorda,46 rg,being directly in my wheelhouse.But I have done Churhills and round eyes.......hell I even liked a few of them.

Try some lonsdale, lancero, and corona sized smokes. You won't regret it.

Oh yeah, forgot to add - don’t limit to only one size. You will find that the ‘same’ cigar in various sizes will give you different experiences.

Kind of like women or men depending on your swing. You will find that various sizes will give you different experiences. 😂😂 I am also a new and finding that depending on the type of day I am having will determine the type of smoke I will have. Enjoy your exploration.
