I've never heard of this before... but looks like this company has re-purposed AI (IBM Watson in this case) to create a bot which will have extended conversations with phone scammers and telemarketers.

This is awesome...

LOVE it, but I like to phukk wit da telemarketers personally.

My personal best was keeping one on the line for about 15 minutes.
He was trying to sell me a trip to Hawaii that I had "won" in some phoney contest.
I kept asking him question after question , like "Which island is it?" Which hotel ? etc, etc.
After about 20 or so questions, he finally said, "Mr Spear . . . You have no interest in this offer, DO you ?"
I smuggly chuckled and said, " And it only took you 15 fuggin minutes to figure that out , Genius ?"

While I appreciate the desire to personally screw with them.... having an AI that can do it so we don't waste our time.... that finally starts to devalue the scam.
