My electrophysyologist is putting me on an aritarythmic called Sotalol. I will be hospitalized for 3 days for monitoring. Next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I can get in my daily walking which will burn some time. I expect to read a few books. A friend of mine works about 5 minutes from the hospital and will stop each day for a little while. Dad will stop by each day. But it seems wierd to be hospitalized without for this. I imagine I will be very bored. I prolly will harass our cons here to pass some time. Maybe even our libs.

Hospitals around here block cbid because it promotes the evil leaf. You may be in radio silence. Good luck. We will save a place for you.

Good luck getting any sleep, if you do, somebody isn't doing their job. 😳 I hope all goes well.[-o<

Don't get a single room. I spent more than a month in the hospital when I was a teenager, then four more months more in a body cast. I was forced to learn patience. Lucky for me it was a four bed room at a Kaiser Hospital so I got to see:

What a .25 ACP gunshot to the gut; from his girlfriend

A broken hip; water-skiing onto the beach then hitting a rock

What happens when you wreck a motorcycle at high speed; road rash on his butt, arms and legs, his dented helmet that took out a stopping with his head inside. The helmet was brought in by the policeman that was chasing him when he "black out". The cop said he rolled then ended up on his butt and bounced along until he stoped. The bouncing cut away his blue jeans. The guy had two broken arms and a broken elbow, but because of all the road rash they couldn't put them in a cast. He cried every time he moved and the road rash stuck to something.

A collapsed lung and the needle they stab you with to fix it, wow.
