I was advised that it is a good idea to start a cigar journal.

I downloaded an app called cigar scanner. Seems cool anybody use this?

I entered all my sticks in it says I have 700 bucks worth... Lol I have a bunch of yard gars in my two humidors! Good way to keep track I guess

I use a spreadsheet with cigar name, size, quantity, description, source, cost, date acquired and location. Location was my last addition - when I had 18 locations where cigars were stored. It doesn't tell me how many of each item were smoked or how many are left.

Palama- totals by cigar brand, Gurkha = 792 (under 100 left).

If you have an Android phone you can use the Aficionado app.

It is pretty good. I track all cigars such price, dates, locations where purchased, noted smoked, or removed.

You's all some motivated folks. I spreadsheet different blends/vitolas so I can avoid duplicates in my seriously backlogged journal, but that's about it.

After years and years of designing front ends and coding I don't even know how many different programs I don't even like using my phone. I just smoke em as they come to the top. Tracking all that info leads to madness and OCD. Grab a smoke, find a quiet spot and enjoy.

I use an app called my brain...Very integral... Keeps tracks of the cigars i like and reminds me to buy more, remembers the cigars I didn't like and discourages me from buying more, and it cross references my budget to tell me what I can and can't afford...

I like it but if I'm being honest, it's got a ton of bugs and I really don't use it as much as I used to...

I've been using Cigar Scanner since the beginning. Love it! They only thing I hate about it is it won't let you export your list of cigars. Seems that would be crazy easy to do.
