Peanut butter cups rule. Kit Kats don't suck, either.

Wife bought a bunch of tootsie pops and sour patch kids, hoping it would deter her from raiding the candy.

It's not working

When we used to give out candy, Nestles Crunch, Almond Joy, Reese’s, M&Ms (plain and peanut) and Snickers were the preferred treats. I always liked Big Hunk but my wife thought it wasn’t good for the kids’ teeth so I’d buy a bag and take it to work. After about 20 years of spending $100-$200 each Halloween, instead of rushing back home, my wife and I started staying in town after work, eating dinner and going to a movie instead.

Big Hunk?
never hoid of it.

8:05 and we seem to have hit the end of the night at 7 kids.

but it is very windy and the original forecast said heavy downpours.
maybe I should keep the candy bowl with me when I go out for a cigar.

Used to be fun when we first moved into our subdivision but after awhile it just got too crazy. There were years when we had to “borrow” candy from our kids ‘cause we ran out. The thought of spending over $200 on candy drove us to opt out.
