Whistle, I send to Cigars for Warriors monthly. My organization, Value for Veterans, is a donation center for them. Only donation center in Mobile, matter of fact. But Cigars are not the only thing we do for troops. Sending cigars to OPFTH would be a very easy thing to do, but I still can't make sense of how you didn't understand the bet.. You stated that there was nothing mentioned about how many cigars were wagered? It's simple math. 5 premium cigars per game won. Nats took title. If Astros had won, I was ready to send 20 out, per my own rules...
If a SERIES is 7 games, you can assume automatically, total for winning team will be subtracted from 35. I lost 3 games, which would bring my total to 20. You won 3. I have never heard of it being to where I send you 15 and you send me 20.
I wager every week in various sports both on and offline, and I know games usually comes with a "winner takes all approach". It is in the very first post that it is 5 per game, and even regurgitated again in post 5. I assumed you understood our bet when entering, I even tried to pm you before all this went down and rectify the situation with 'meeting in the middle' since you clearly misunderstood and I clearly should have made an attempt to make sure you did understand the rules. You went on to be bull-headed and unreasonable. Even though it was right in your face... 5 per game. Like I said I tried to meet you in the middle at 10 because you didn't know what PER GAME meant from the beginning.
Matter of fact, I did make a bet on game 4 of the series, I believe and it alone was a 5er, so wtf what make you think someone would wait on 5 cigars from an entire series?? I can't get logic past that. Then the fact that you admitted you were thinking of sending 10 proves that you knew your logic was off and that you owed more than what was sent.
The only solution you have come up with is send to troops, which I do anyways. I personally would like to see something along the lines of what we originally started. Either you could send me the other 15 you owe me (-20), and I send you 15 for the three you won.. (which is backwards to begin with, but I would do it to even the board) or send the other 5 from the 10 I offered to meet you in the middle at.
As for OPFTH, I'm willing to send a donation anytime, for sure... but not for the sake of this wager. Separate the two. Now if you want to finish the bet, and take the cigars I send to you, then regift them, I'm fine with that completely. Once you get them, they become yours and I could care less.
