Just finished making crawfish etouffee, had a bowl full of Velvet in my MM Legend cob with a glass of Mellow Bourbon. Enjoying the bachelor life......

Yes it is, have a great Cajun restaurant here in town. But decided to give it a go and try making it myself, happy with the way it turned out. Especially since I really just started cooking a few months ago.

That is some good shiite! I coat some bone-in/skin-on chicken breast good with it, park it in the fridge for 24 hours and roast/smoke it off. I have then got some kick ass chicken to take for my dinners at work all week. 😁

I wish I could remember who it was that sent me some home made chili powder to season food with. It was amazing! You only needed to add like a few grains of this stuff to a large pot and your mouth was on fire, in a good way! People have recommended some really good food and/or seasonings over the years that I might never have tried.

Crawfish etouffee is the absolute greatest food on the planet. I go to NOLA at least twice a year and have been known to have etouffee for breakfast, lunch, and dinner more than a few times.

I have often said that I want to move to NOLA, but I know I’d end up weighing 600 pounds.

Every time I’m on the gulf coast, it’s all cajun all the time.
Gumbo, creole, étouffée, jambalaya, blackened catfish, red beans and rice...
Sho is good!!!
