Just have an associate appear in court wearing some gloves; take the gloves off and hand them to another associate who is the same height and weight as the first; have the second associate bend a finger or put two fingers together or just pretend to struggle putting the gloves on; then have both associates put their hands/palms together to show their hands are the same size...

I seem to recall feeling the case was lost due to the totally unnecessary planting of evidence by the cops.
They had more than enough but made all of it questionable with this act that all framed people, all citizens for that matter, should fear.

Having him attempt to put the gloves on served absolutely no purpose. An adept lawyer knows exactly the outcome of every word that will spoken by his witnesses and the ramifications of every piece of evidence submitted.

Chris Dardenne made a huge tactical blunder asking OJ to try on the glove. He should have known that OJ took blood pressure medicine and if I’m not mistake fluid pills as well. He should have known that by skipping those pills for a few days would have caused him to swell from excess water retention. He should have known the glove was wet when it was found and being leather it would shrink as it dried. He should have known wearing latex gloves would have made his hand and fingers larger. He should have known that the latex would have provided extra grip making the gloves hard to pull onto his hand. He should have know. That there was no way in hell the gloves would have fit. In fact, if OJ had volunteered to put them on himself he should have objected and if needed call an expert to say just that and that any failed attempt to put the glove on would have been prejudicial.

There should have been only one state’s attorney speaking for the prosecution. This goes back to the lead prosecutor knowing in advance every single word spoken by the prosecution. Besides, it would have shown that the DA’s office was confident in their case and didn’t need a pinch hitter to augment the case. Dardenne could have assisted, but without speaking in court and certainly without speaking to the press. But, I’m sure Dardenne’s ego did not allow that since this was the latest case of the century. Unfortunately, his ego has sealed his legacy as that of a fool.

It appears his suicide attempt was successful. He's dead.

He left behind a suicide note proclaiming his innocence. Yeah, I'm sure he was innocent... that's why he killed himself, because he knew he was innocent and would beat the charges and spend the rest of his life a free man with millions in the bank.
