Quick question--I need a new flint for my Colibri flint ligher, so I went in to a cigar shop near my house. They handed me Zippo flints, and I asked "Shouldn't I use Colibri flints only" They responded that Zippo flints are the best in the business and that it doesn't matter. Any truth to this? I don't want to screw up my lighter

As far as I know ... flints are pretty much 'standard' in the business, and all the same size. If it fits fine with no trouble, use them ...

Personally ... I don't think it matters much. But of course, Colibri (or any other company that makes the product) wants you to by theirs, so they say only use them.
