If you eat them first I don't see a problem. If not get the vegan ones then you should be good.

Yes, but, get the masa, not the flour.

The flour can form gluten which can turn rock like and clog pipes.

One of the biggest preventable expenses at bakeries are clogged pipes from too much flour getting into the drains.

No but soapy water, I hear, is much easier on the plumbing than TP... since, after all, it's water.

So bakers wipe their butts with tortillas?

Interesting concept maybe that's why chocolate empanadas are so good.

The supermarket I went to yesterday was completely out of the flour tortilla brand and size we prefer so bought some vegan ones made from Cassava flour.

I'm sure it was healthier for us but gosh, were they bland. Pretty much tasteless.

Gives a new flavor to typically bland refried beans if you bake them instead of flush them.

I like to take corn tortillas and flip them directly on the burner till the get nice and crispy. If you have a glass top or coil burner try it. Works better on a coil burner because the carb builds up on a glass top.
