If he's smart, he will steer clear of the Chargers and Taxifornia. If you're making 25-30 million a year it's a YUGE savings in a tax free state.

I think more likely Tampa with Bruce Arians, but I'm guessing like everyone else.

Tampa seems reasonable to me because it gets him out of the AFC where he has to contend with KC and Mahomes. Miami means he has to play the Pats twice... not sure he'd do that.

In Tampa, he just has to beat Drew Brees, who is also aging.

Well, Rivers signs with the Colts.

That makes them a deadly team. Very short window. If they have someone lined up in the upcoming draft at qb... he could hold a clipboard for a few while learning from a really stellar qb.

Listening to the talking heads suggest San Fran as a destination. Made some good points - Tom is from the Bay Area, grew up cheering for the Niners and the team is gonna be a contender next year.

Of course the Niners would have to clear up more cap space and massage Jimmy G's ego. Not sure if they can do either. 🤔

Jimmy G is the better option for SF. He WAS the better option for NE, but they traded him.

Why would SF want to replace a younger QB with room to improve with one already past his prime?
