I bid on two five packs (out of three that are available) of the same item at $10 and am winning them.

Before the auction closes, I am notified that I was outbid on ONE of units. The new price-to-win is $14.

I cannot find a way to simply bid $14 for the one I was outbid on.

I tried "increase your bid", but it just increased my bid for the one I was still winning.

Do I need to increase my bid on ALL of the units I am bidding on even though someone outbid me on only one of them?

Yes, Increase your max bid to win all. You'll only be charged the highest competing bid under your max. As long as your max is higher for each. Keep in mind the highest bids are cued up In the order they're received so get your max bids in early to maintain priority or you can get pushed to the back of the line. Earlier bidders can pay less than late to the game bidders. When multiple quantities are offered timing of bids require different strategy than single quantity bids

If you find a cigar you like... bid on all lots offered and set your max bid for just below retail. If you win them all, great. If you win a few, great. If you lose them all... who the hell cares, they went over what you were willing to pay.

Don’t be weak! Let it be KNOWN that you mean business...................just put in a max bid of $500, and go to bed knowing you’re going to win, and that your opponents will shrivel before you.

You have to take into account the interaction of multiple bids. Your first bid will be ranked in the order that you and other bidders bid on an item. However when you bid on a second item, your bid is prioritized as an average of your highest and soonest bid amongst all the bids you are bidding on. Therefore to truly win you need to be on your A game for all your bids to increase your odds to take advantage of the cumulative effect. Dont casually bid on some items while going after other items aggressively. It will dilute/diminish your chances. The more items you bid on the better.
