President Trump is talking about a new task force for opening up the country.
California governor Gavin Newsom is talking about detailed planning for opening up the state.

They can’t both be right. I don’t even know what network to watch to tell me what I should think on this one.

^Thoughts are that this thing hit CA back in December and may have created some herd immunity to it. The numbers here just aren't nearly as bad as some were expecting.

People ain't working, and if they ain't working they ain't paying taxes... yet we're blowing 2 trillion of taxes we ain't collecting.

Unfortunately the antibody tests I just read about are coming from China, are only about 64%-94% effective depending on the type, already have a long waiting list and cost $60 each right now. They are not covered by insurance.

Also there is insufficient evidence at present that even if they do show that a person has had COVID19 that they are immune. Gonna take a long time to get this all sorted.

Got a letter from my urologist yesterday stating that he was retiring. One of the prime reasons was the threat of the virus. He is a very sharp medical doctor. That's the second of my doctors that have retired in the past 2 years. I think I'm getting old.

DED, I agree with all you pointed out. We will take a big risk by assuming antibodies from a new virus will create significant immunity. It is a reasonable assumption, but simply is unknown. MACS, why would you assume I wouldn't give credit where credit is due? She is right.
