Usually enjoy med/full cigars DC Maximus toro a favorite but recently tried My Father Conn Toro for the first time and liked it. Enjoying LP Pappa Fritas another first try. Had my first Le Bijou, seemed harsh so I put the other 4 to rest. Some nice boutiques, Snitches get stiches and Irish Car bomb- tho the latter needed touch ups it was delicious to the nub. Also like another 1st smoke LIGA-1 CK SHORTY BY CASA FERNANDEZ AGANORSA LEAF (sorry for the caps-cop/ypaste)
Soooo...

Would you recommend this 10pk sampler
Lancero (7.5"x38) Cigars: Cabaiguan, Cabaiguan Guapos, El Triunfador Original, El Triunfador, Fausto, La Casita Criolla, La Riqueza, Seleccion de Cazador, Havana VI, Private Reserve.

or
this lancero 10pk sampler
The Frank, The Drac, The Face, The Wolfman, The Mummy, The JV13, The Jekyll, The Hyde, Chuck, Tiff.

or
or this skinny monster 10pk sampler-6.4"x43 cazadores size
Includes Frank, Drac, Face, Wolf, Mummy, Jason, Jekyll, Hyde, Chuck, and Tiff.

I usually prefer the larger ring size - with my listed preferences do you think I would even like the brand? opinions please?

Interesting to see some of those blends in the first one available in lancero....

The second one I’ve had and enjoyed (think I sent one to a BOTL here for winning my NBA contest)

The third one would be interesting as well, the cazadores is Pete Johnson’s favorite vitola.

I’d say you can’t go wrong with any of them but in the first one there’s 4 I wouldn’t care to even try, but a few that intrigue me.

Thx deadye.

ZRX1200,
I like the larger ring as well, wish they weren't so spendy but I'll have to choose just one. probably the cazadore but I'll wait for any other input first, thx

Ok have you had any of these blends before?

Should have asked that in my first post.....

Never had any Tatuaje before.

Oh wow ok.....in that case I’d tell you the second two samplers are a bit more of a collectors thing except the skinny monsters are readily available by the box if you know where to look.

So if you’re looking for something that you could actually get going forward I would suggest the first or second. Because the third sampler is a one time thing in just THAT sampler. Wouldn’t discourage getting all three if you got the bucks.....but if you like something the second one is the only thing that you can buy all in the sampler individually if you want.

Also if you have a local B&M buy a brown label Miami and a Reserva broadleaf and that will give you a good idea of the Tatuaje taste. Shoot you can get the 7th Reserva in natural, broadleaf and Sumatra wrappers and that would REALLY give you a good idea.

The MEII is really good if you like SA wrapper (I don’t and I like this cigar a lot).

Yeah the lanceros aren't my preferred vitola, I have some L'atelier la mission 1999 snagged at an auction but haven't tried that brand yet either. I'll save these reccos for future buys if I can find a decent price for 5er so I can try em out. I think I saw Tattoo Bonito and Cabellero under $5 per.

thanks for taking the time.

No worries man. Yes l'atelier missions are good. I didn't want to flood you with a huge list.

Thanks for the recco's, I know in the end it's all about personal preference. Had so many cigars with high hopes (and big ratings) that just weren't for me.

Now I want to break open the box and try em. I saw a decent auction on the 2003 L'atelier but didn't want to buy till I tried them out first.

I did that with Liga Privada #9 short panetela (bought a box) and the first one was not what I had hoped for, maybe its the size. Had the tiny little T52 cigarillo (in the tin) and thought it was better but not worth the cost compared to my cheapie Banditos Black I smoke when I don't have much time (or its 110 degrees out).

Maybe size really does matter?

Yeah even tho it's a limited edition and maybe I won't be able to buy again real soon, I'm still considering that buy.
