I've smoked a couple of CAO V660s that get very soft and loose in the final third. I'm pretty new to the larger ring gauge cigars, is this normal? I've smoked a bunch of Monte Cristo Media Noche 7x58, they don't turn soft. The CAOs have been in my humidor for about a month, 65% humidity, I'm thinking this might be normal for this particular cigar, I was wondering if other large ring gauges do this as well.

Just smoked that pole recently. It stayed hard the whole time it was in my mouth, and I nubbed it.

Maybe you need to work on your technique...

Did you cup the band near the end?
