...in the white house. Wonderful. Along with birtherism, hydroxychroloquine, bleach injections and the idea that he's competent, our president also apparently believes a new conspiracy theory:

Tweeted today by bunker baby:

Donald J. Trumpโœ”@realDonaldTrump
Buffalo protester shoved by Police could be an ANTIFA provocateur. 75 year old Martin Gugino was pushed away after appearing to scan police communications in order to black out the equipment. @OANN I watched, he fell harder than was pushed. Was aiming scanner. Could be a set up?

now I'm assuming everyone saw the video of the old man getting shoved by the cops. If you've been living under a rock, here it is:

The idea that our president would tweet such absolute garbage about that....

I don't think the cop did anything wrong in the photo link Victor posted above. The question will be whether excessive force was used. That is, less of a push or some other action. I think the cops push was not excessive. And, there was a terribly unfortunate consequence.

He had enough cops around him there was little need to shove the old man like that. No real pressing threat to need to create space.

Then as they kept marching by, one cop started to go over and check how the old man laying on the ground (eventually in a pool of blood, but I don't know the timing) and the other pulls him back away so they all march past him.

And none of this addresses the idea that the president of the united states is now trying to push a conspiracy theory that the old man was trying to scan their radios to blackout police communications, and is part of "antifa".... (because antifa has membership cards)

When riot police are marching in formation they tend not to stop when clearing an area.

I donโ€™t condone (personally) pushing the guy over, when a lawful order to disperse is given, a decision to move towards them is not advice Iโ€™d give.

Iโ€™m so SHOCKED that you Victor being the cold, thoughtful guy you are who only cares about facts wouldnโ€™t care that heโ€™s 75.

Also youโ€™re obsession is showing

How much force do you think it takes to knock a 75 year old backwards?

and again, while fellating authoritarianism, you are missing the point.

The president is posting dumb conspiracy theories about a protester who was put in the hospital by the police.

He's claiming the guy "fell harder than a push" and is part of ANTIFA, and was trying to scan the police radios.

Our president is an idiot, and it's clear every day from his tweets. And this doesn't bother you?
