Anyone else seeing weird items suddenly jump in price?

The shaving cream I usually buy went from $14/tub to $22.

The Party sized bag of Peanut M&Ms (38oz) went from $10 to $18.

The wireless earbuds I bought 6 months ago for $29 are now $38.

Fleshlights (I buy used ones) used to be 2/$25, now $49 each...

I bought all this stuff on Amazon, so it's possible it's a Bezos thing, but holy hell.

It seems to me that everything but local produce has gone up in price. In fact, I think that local produce may have dropped a bit in price. Covid f'd up factories/production/labor and deliveries. Shortages have lead to price increases. On the flip side, demand for some items has increased. These sure are strange economic times

I told my wife a week or so ago that the chuck roast we always get went up in price and she was like, "Nuh-uhhh..." and then yesterday she says, "Hey, chuck roast is like 8 dollars a pound...".

Uh... yeah. Toldja. Almost cheaper to eat out.

Amazon is easy. It is rarely cheaper Way before COVID I noticed that were getting a lot of stuff from Amazon. Like grocery type stuff. I asked what the hell was going on. Turned out the wife had gotten "subscriptions" to things like Cheez-its and a few other things. I looked into it and we were paying about a 3rd more for friggin Cheez-its than we could get from the grocery store. And we had a $hitload of cheez-its with more coming every couple of weeks or whatever. No one needs a gaddam subscription to Cheez-its. I have an Amazon account because the wife does. I guarantee I would not otherwise.
