Since the individual states started cracking down on and enforcing it for internet sales. Not all states have done it yet but it's only a matter of time before they all will want their slice of the pie.

Some friends that use to do the e-bay thing to make some extra spending money gave it up because they are now required (or at least supposed to) to track, collect, and pay taxes on their sales. They decided that it wasn't worth the headache or the possibility of an audit if they didn't do it.

Ever since the individual mafia families - oops, I mean state governments - figured out that they are losing a sh*t ton of protection money - oops, I mean tax revenue - on internet purchases.

The mafia families say It's about business fairness, It's only fair they can rob you on interstate transactions as well as intrastate sales.

An announcement by CB would have been nice, so buyers can decide whether to start comparing other options for total cost.

In reality by buying stuff on the internet, we have all cheated our state governments out of tax revenues and now we complain about paying those taxes.

Spoken like a true socialist........and because Texas doesn't have an income tax I suppose I should pony up some coin for all those years I worked abroad and out of state but maintained Texas as my residence. Not to mention what I owe 30 plus states and 4 countries
