By any chance did you look to see if anyone else has / had a similar question? 🤔

Hawk66 Is tell you to private message Celticbomber but I’m not sure how his time is being spent (helping customer service or trial preparation).

I don’t normally do this but you seem like a good egg, you didn’t come in here blasting both barrels on CAP LOCK. So I’ll tell you something I don’t normally tell new people. The owner of CBid is a guy named Dave, and he really keeps an eye out for forum members here. So call the number and ask for Dave, and tell him you’re friends with jaderose on CBid forums.

I'm a deployed soldier getting close to end of deployment. I ordered a 40 count Herf-a-dor. Just trying to get my sticks home without damaging them. Just worried it won't show up in time.
Thanks to all.!

Any chance of putting them in a small Tupperware / airtight container?

Worst case scenario, put the cigars in a Ziploc with beads or a Boveda pack or two.

Got the boveda. Good Tupperware that won't crush in a duffle bag is a little harder. Just got those cheap glad containers

How long before the end of your deployment? How long does the mail typically take to get to you? Willing to share your mailing address to where you get things shipped to? If so, send it to me via private message on here.

Pretty sure I can figure out a way to get you a

CigarSafe Travel Humidor | 40 Cigar Capacity | Color: Black

if it's not to late to place an order and I know where to send it.

{Edit} Place says shipping to an APO, FPO, or DPO address may take up to 21 business days for these addresses. Would this be a problem?

Hawk66 if it’s an APO make sure you reach out to OpFTH let them know where ya are, and make sure you let us know. If it’s not an APO you should still let us know where when ya land we will get you taken care of.

It's a APO. Finally got through on phone but been on hold for half hour. We'll see how long I can hold out on this overseas line.

So kinda hard to express what I'm feeling. Thank you to everyone that responded. After being on hold for an hour, I found out that the Herfador I wanted was backordered even though it didn't say anything about it on my order status and my card was charged.

Was amazed when Bucky offered to send me one. Thanks to him all my sticks will make it home without damage.
Thank you all and most especially Bucky for your responses and support.

I have an addy if anyone is interested but it's only good until Aug 15 at the latest. A little birdie Tech Inspector gave it to me.

"Been a long difficult deployment. Covid-19 even affected us in the middle of the desert. No USO no MWR. No gym. Nothing but eat, sleep, fox helicopters and repeat. Be glad to get stateside."

even though I routinely trash Bucky and call him Theodore, I'm not a bit surprised to see what he did.

Good move by Bucky but I don't call him Theodore - heck, I don't even have a chipmunk running around that I call Theodore.

New, interested to see how this play out. To help the brotha Bucky gotta send a empty herfador, but that means sending a box with no cigars in it. Quite the cbid conundrum....

Yeah, I know. Thought about getting it shipped here then stuffing it and shipping it to him but the time frame was tight. The turn around to ship to him it might be pushing the envelope and I wanted to make sure he at least got the case in time to get what he already has back home.

Additionally, he'd need more storage to ship more cigars home and in which case the mental exercise turned into an never ending loop with no break out.

I realize it goes against CBid SOP to ship empty boxes but I had to make a call and will accept the consequences.
