Former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday called for a nationwide mask mandate to help fight the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Every American should be wearing a mask when they’re outside for the next three months at a minimum,” Biden told reporters in Wilmington, Del.

not necessarily, but one look at the spread of the contagion suggests there are very few safe pockets left in this country...

public health and the fight against the infectious nature of the virus is one of those areas where we need to act as a whole...there are no effective treatments and no vaccine, so we have to use proven measures to protect ourselves and others....what happens in one place will migrate to others, until it is everywhere...

wearing a mask is a far less drastic measure to protect the entire country than a total travel ban with severe lock down restrictions, which some states have implemented...

BTW: I live in a state/county where masks are mandated, and it's really not a serious infringement on my personal liberties...but we all agree to give up some small freedoms for the public's safety...like not smoking a cigar inside most places ....or submitting to a state exam before driving a car and carrying that damm card whenever I get behind the wheel...
