I have owned two pressure washers with Honda engines and never had any problems what so ever with either.

I purchased a Honda EU 3000i I believe, 12-14 years ago for tornado and ice/snow power outages. I paid about double what I expected because it was the only thing available with the box stores sold out with the next major event looming. This particular model is more of a camping or RV model. It runs quiet, two people can stand on either side and carry on a conversation without raising their voices. A reason for the increased price.

With the two storms in the gulf, I decided to knock the dust off of it yesterday and give it a check ride. It only has 175-200 hrs on it and I have not started it in two years. I put a small amount of fuel in, pulled coke and with one pull of the rope she started. I put her under load until the fuel ran out and she is now back in her resting place until needed.

IMHO, Honda is the best

Honda is an engine company. That's what they do. Cars, motorcycles, mowers, generators, and the list goes on... they make engines and they are very, very good at it.

it was the highest rated generator by Consumer Reports...the one we bought, in 2013, was the next highest ranking, which put out nearly twice the amps at half the cost...a Champion...

alas, almost twice as noisy as a Honda...

I have a Honda lawn mower.......love it.

The two Honda pressure washers at work just get beat, and run hard, and long, every day.
Salt water environment, shrimp/crab/fish waste splattered all over..........we just blast it off with........the pressure washer.
Starts on first pull 80% of the time.......the second pull the rest of the time.
They simply make the best chit.
I wish they would make a tall utility van.

I’ve got a John Deere generator with a 13HP Honda engine. This thing is agricultural/construction grade. It went through a few hurricanes during my Florida days and now I consider it part of my earthquake kit.

Try putting tie rod guards on them. 50% more hp and they'll last 98.2% longer

We have a couple trailer mounted 12 kw Winco generators that have a Honda GX LP gas motors.Way quieter than our generators that are powered by Detroit Diesel............and a much more reliable start in the winter.

FYI, Harbor Freight Predator engines are Honda clones. Interchangeable parts n stuff. Ive had as much success with them as I have with Hondas. Great option when/if your machine needs repowered.

Figured it was all sand and tumbleweed until somewhere around Kansas

J/K Did assume it was south enough to be significantly warmer than my Midwestern experience though

Predators are Honda clones, but have looser tolerances due to imprecise machining and very little of their products are properly heat treated. Buyer beware.

I always carry on conversations while pressure-washing.
But I enjoy shouting.
So fucque Honda...
