He thought heroes are the guys who don't get captured.

I thought the same thing. Kinda.. Trump delayed the vote for somethin and McCain screwed by voting against his peoples wishes.. Trump shoulda kept his mouth shut but McCain screwed up.. didn't deserve to be disrespected but his personal feelings towards Trump shouldn't have effected his vote... all in the past... well, until election time I guess.. 😟

What is most striking is that, even among those who say they didn’t hear him actually say this - a far cry from a denial - not one person has said, "Trump would never say such a thing." It is perfectly consistent with his attitude and comments of at least the past 5 years.
