You voted for someone you thought would be a good president? Instead of voting for the less bad president?

For me that would be Ronald Reagan.

BTW I understand what you were saying. I just see his name and my blood pressure rises.

The only problem with the Reagan administration I had is they didn't take an axe to the size of the gubment so I never have to hear "I'm from the government and I'm here to help", but that's been typical of every Republican administration, they always say they're 'conservative" which translates to progressive-lite.
But to say he's the "single worst president of the 20th century" is ridiculous unless he took your welfare check away. There's plenty worse than Reagan was...like every President since him just to mention a few.

Clinton, second term....after a promising first term of reviving the economy, cutting unemployment, reducing inflation all while reducing the deficit, he had momentum going forward...especially with a promising trade deal on the table...

plus, I thought the GOP's non-stop personal attacks and promotion of conspiracy theories blaming him for deaths of people close to him without evidence back-fired, giving his performance some extra degree of difficulty points

Up until this election, I voted Libertarian.

I was always voting for a candidate that I believed could and would do a good job.

This time, I had to vote for Biden because regardless of how crappy he would be as a president, he would be 100,000,000 times better than the racist crook that he was replacing.

Ruby Ridge happened on GHWB's watch...and it seems Bill Barr has some splaining to do...but cons DGAS and blame Clinton?

Waco was a disaster...Clinton should have exercised more patience...but David Koresh was the instigator/criminal and there was ample evidence he did not intend to give up...still, why not wait some more? Reports were that Reno pulled the trigger...

McVeigh, like Koresh, was a homicidal nutjob...just like the terrorists who crashed into the WTC on 9/11...
