I love the flavor of Jalapeños but they are vary in heat and often are too hot for my taste. Recently I discovered Mezzetta Tamed* Jalapeños, sliced and packed in glass jar, they are fantastic, crunchy and just the right amount of heat.

Our Tamed™ Jalapeños—a hybrid of a jalapeño and a bell pepper—were developed for us by Texas A&M University to provide all the flavor and texture of a regular jalapeño but with less heat. Mezzetta Tamed™ Jalapeños carry a trademark licensed exclusively to Mezzetta and are the perfect thing when you want the taste of jalapeño without knock-your-socks-off spiciness. If you like heat, though, you’ll love our Hot Jalapeños.

Our local Publix has them and you can buy them directly from Mezzetta.

They also make excellent Jalapeño stuffed Spanish green olives, though they are stuffed with full strength Jalapeños.

Very interesting! Gonna look into getting some clones for the garden in the spring.
As a novice pepper farmer we did a batch of sweet pickled Jalapeno peppers this year. As our Jalapeno harvest has been too hot. They're hotter than the scotch bonnets. Our Habaneros are almost too mild but are my favorite.
Our Jalapenos make great jam but too hot for much else so Jam has been the main use.
Very similar to the pickle juice of the "bread and butter chips" except with Jalapeno slices.
It's my new favorite thing as the sugar brine knocks down the heat and turns them into treasured delicacies.
Gonna try to do a bunch of jars next year

I love the flavor of jalapeno's allowed to fully mature(RED).........green they have a chlorophyll after taste I'm not fond of.My biggest problem is they're just not hot enough for me.I always stress the plants I garden.....withhold water a week or so as often as needed to get stress cracks in them.Stressed peppers are usually hotter and in some cases much hotter.
