Dow ends the year at a record high of 30,606... S&P 3,756. Amid a pandemic... with government mandated lockdowns for many.

Wonder how well we'd have done without the pandemic, or even just without the lockdowns?

Not as good but we wouldn’t have a few hundred thousand destroyed small businesses.

Trillions of stimulus flowed into the S&P 500. Small businesses are not on the stock market.

and billions more that wasn't intended for those big corporations were snapped up by them anyways...

all while millions of Americans are still out of work, and hundreds of thousands small businesses have been destroyed... $666 one time stimulus won't help those poor folks much, but the $300/week (shoulda been more like $500) unemployment might

but I'm not complaining much...my 403B and investment accounts did pretty well this year...

The stock market is basically detached from the economy at this point and shouldn't be a measure of its strength.

Yes, the history of bubble and bust economics agrees.
When the bubble blows, will they call it the Biden Depression?

Take the money and hide for awhile, time to fold-en not hold-en, good deals will come later.
