I am serious, you cannot blame Biden for anything he does, no matter how outrageous it might be.

Biden has been in the politician racket for on 47 years, making promises, lying and screwing over constituents but getting away with it, election after election, still, those votes keep coming in. So, you just cannot blame Biden, in fact I pretty sure he believes the people that voted for him actually expect him to do anything he pleases, well, anything his sponsors tell to do.

he was not Trump.
That's the explanation.
Can you imagine being that unpopular?

Biden once said that there are “things you can’t do by executive order unless you’re a dictator.” Yup!

Can you imagine voting for a demented old turd like that?:-k
I can't.

Executive orders from the guy that wants to have a government of consensus. 🐴

Clinton—2 in his first week in office
Bush—2 in his first two weeks in office
Obama—5 in his first week in office
Trump—4 in his first week in office

Biden—30+ in his first five days in office

I think some people don't get it, Biden obviously believes the election was a consensus of the peoples that he should be dictator and rule by executive order.

I have no problem with executive orders that delete previous executive orders. That very well may be correcting something that was done incorrectly previously in my view. IE neutralizes an EO.

I'm not a fan when they implement something in leu of legislation. I know it might be a necessary evil sometimes but shouldn't be the norm or high volume. To me that's not the executives purpose or function.

I've read the list already. Thanks.

Consensus? I'm sorry but when has any President needed a consensus to write an executive order? Executive orders are how the President controls the policies the Executive Branch is responsible for. A power granted by the Constitution. When Trump was writing executive orders were you wringing your hands and saying "He shouldn't do that! He should get a consensus first!"? I doubt it. Trump didn't care one bit if he had a consensus before putting his signature on an executive order. Suddenly you've got a flea up your bottom because it's Biden and not Trump?

If you want a consensus look to the Congress. That's what they are there for. I think you've confused Biden's calls for unity as a capitulation that he won't do anything unless Republicans agree with it too. Rand Paul interpreted Biden's inauguration speech as calling him and other Republicans "...Calling us white supremacists, Calling us racists. Calling us every name in the book. Calling us people who don't tell the truth..." He was offended that Biden called for unity? Biden should check with Rand Paul and every other Republican before he does his job as President? Me thinks thou and the Senator dost protest to much.

Maybe you could point out where Trump said he would govern with consensus. I cannot recall such statement but I do know what Biden said and what he is doing in his first week.

Funny you would use the word, "capitulation", that is what democrats really want when they ask for consensus.

Executive Orders have become the new way for the POTUS to get things done, since Congress, and especially the Senate, have become two ineffective entities, with members more interested in making politically motivated statements to entertain the extremists on each side, than actually working as a group to pass legislation that will actually help a significant segment of Americans...

cons conveniently forget how they applauded Trump's Executive Orders that were specifically done to reverse an Obama EO...think anything that regulated business to achieve an environmental protection goal for the health and safety of people in the area --whacked with a stroke of his pen...

Point out where Biden called for a consensus among Democrats and Republicans before anything is done? I can remember one speech where Biden spoke to Democrats asking for a consensus among them to pick a Supreme Court justice. Where did he give up the right to create and enact executive orders?

I don't know how to break the news to you but Democrats don't need to capitulate anything to anyone if they don't want to. You should be giddy that anyone is talking about consensus at all after the last 4 years. Biden has only been in office a week. You might want to stop chewing on your liver now... it's going to be a long 4 - 8 years.
