XL Pipeline people, you got what you voted for, enjoy the government cheese.

Parents, so the schools are closed tough and they will not be opening very much in the near future. Tough, stay home and teach the kids yourself. Goodness knows the schools do a piss poor job of it. Can't go to work yourself because of it, tough enjoy the government cheese.

$15.00 minimum wage great, 990,000 out of poverty but 1,400,000 people lose their jobs. I would guess that the 990,000 could care less about the others. So then with the entry and summer jobs gone, the students can just use drugs instead since they aren't in school anyway. The cartels and dealers can see dollar signs all over the place. Hey when one group loses another gains.

Illegal aliens all over the place, great and tough luck inner city and low skilled workers, we will just tax your unemployment and welfare payments to provide them free health care. Enjoy chumps!

I could have swore someone asked someone that worked in the industry and that someone said that they don't GAF because they're just going to assign them to a different location anyway.

Apparently the loss of jobs thing is a lie... it's just a loss of THAT job... apparently the individual workers get shuffled all over.

At least that's what I could have swore someone said... it's only the pipeline owners, shareholders and investors that get screwed.

government contracts for public works projects are lined up, awaiting approval and funding across all 50 states...thousands are greenlighted every year across the US...many construction companies bid on these jobs when they are announced...

some state and federal highway jobs currently underway in CA were approved and funded during the Bush and Obama administrations...just getting around to doing them...

if Biden's infrastructure plan gets some GOP support and is approved, the number of jobs created would be more than one can imagine...

Yeah, let's cut current jobs in the fly over states with the hope that new jobs make it through the pipeline of the federal, state, and local governments in 4-12+ years.

Meanwhile we'll increase our dependence on foreign oil with the hopes that these new green jobs appear once they get approved for funding (if they get funded) and after we find out who gets funded (if they get funded). Prolly gonna be one of those "Ya gotta pass it before you can read it so you can find out what's in it" sort of thingies.

Any guesses on which countries dominate the stuff for all this green energy stuff... and stuff? (Hint: about 98.2% of it ain't made in the USA).

so let's pass Biden's infrastructure bill when it is proposed...we'll create hundreds of thousands of high paying jobs for decades ...98.2% of everybody in the USA who wants to work can find a job then...and we'll do it all in the USA with at least 98.2% of stuff made in the USA
