I've been looking at trying some dry cured cigars. Anyone out there smoke any of these? I've heard good things about the Italian Toscanos and Villiger Exports look interesting. I have a small humidor that I could keep them in on my desk at work w/o too much worry since they don't really need to be humi-controlled (right?).

Thanks, clint. Tried a search from the mobile site, only gave me option to go back 18 months... I see now I can go back further if I search from desktop site.

Anyway, based on past responses, I'm going to skip the Exports. I'll pick up a pack of the Toscano's though. There are several pipe smokers I know that enjoy them. Will report back in case anyone's interested.

Villiger Exports are like smoking the cedar shaving from your hamster cage.

Get yourself some Parodi Kings and Avanti Annisettes
And be a happy man...

Picked up a box of the Parodi Ammezzatis and a sampler box of 6 different Toscano's.

Starting out with one of the Parodi's. Lots of dark fruit and toasty notes. Pairs great with an espresso. I think I'm going to enjoy these as a change of pace. Didn't last real long. 20-25 minutes. If it were any longer, I might've been in trouble! Definitely not an empty stomach smoke. I'll be halfing the Toscano's for sure.
