Back in the 70's, those "disco biscuits' were selling for $10 apiece at the clubs in Philly.
Then one day, while hunting rats at the dump, somebody stumbled across a 1000ct bag of them amidst all the trash. Apparently, a drug distribution company in South Philly, for some reason, had a cache of them that they had to dispose of, and instead of doing it legally, they just took them and dropped them off at the dump. Once word got out, it was like the California Gold Rush. Guys were down there with pick axes and shovels, digging through the mounds of trash looking for more . . . and they found them !
No way of knowing just how many bags were found, but "dump ludes" were selling for a buck apiece on the street, so I imagine a ****LOAD of bags were found. Ohhhhhhhhh, the good ole' days, eh ?
