Hey guys I’m new to the forums and pretty new to the world of cigars and CB in general. Started smoking cigars maybe a year ago but not seriously until a few months ago before I was buying a couple sticks a week having one here or there I gave a friend of mine that didn’t smoke an acid blondie and few weeks later we were going to the lounge together and met a guy there that changed my life introduced me to cigarbid, flathead 660s , and good bourbon very cool dude showed me the brotherhood of being a cigar smoker. I’m not sure what I would say my favorite cigar is I’ve been enjoying the man o war cigars a lot especially the virtue and ruination. Smoking a franks way 105 right now cheap stick but I had to try it. Hopefully this is the right place to post this if not it would only be the 2nd time I posted in the wrong forum haha any way I’m here to hang around see what I can learn and hopefully get in on some trades

Welcome. What part of the country are you in? We have Brothers everywhere. Many of us..... you’d probably better off NOT meeting.

There are some great dudes here... allegedly.

Welcome fellow region rat. May we be blessed with an expedient and lasting spring as opposed to this back and forth chit. Hope you enjoy your stay. Questions of vital importance shall be forthcoming

FYI you'd expressed some interest in getting involved with the PIBs. Jkpulp is ripe for the picking up in the n00b PIB

I know it just got nice enough to sit on the porch and have a cigar now this week I had to get the coat back out haha

And thank you I responded. Seems like a really cool way to expand my knowledge and palette,I’d like to send a few that I feel like I can taste a few notes really strong and compare with a more experienced smoker to see what they get from it

You should target some region tobacco in varied strengths to help guide your journey. A few to try:

Arturo Fuente 858 maduro
Sobremesa Créme Brûlée
Illusione CG4 or 888 natural
Hoya de Monterey Dark Knight
Diesel Whiskey Row Sherry Cask
Eiroa (any)
Perdomo 10th Anniversary (any wrapper)
Tatuaje 7th Capa Especiale
Tatuaje 2012 Cojonu 2012 Reserva

I’ve never thought of just sticking with one region I definitely need to start making a more planned decision so I can learn what I really like in a cigar I’ve been doing a lot of random grabbing honestly
