Take always:
1) Check Temp Setting Before Putting Anything in It
2) Set Timer to 7/8 of 1/2 Recommended Time
3) Stir When 1/2 Timer Goes Off
4) Reset Timer to 7/8 of 1/2 Recommended Time to Finish
5) You Can Always Add a Little Extra Time if Needed
6) I hate Burnt Fries!!

3) Stir When 1/2 Timer Goes Off Does the timer ever reach 1/2 since you set it for 7/16?
4) Reset Timer to 7/8 of 1/2 Recommended Time to Finish 7/16 of Recommended Time?

This ain't helping me. I have one with a metric clock, do you have a conversion factor?

No Bucky you messed it up.

You want the damned thing to turn off so you can mix them up, hence 7/8 of 1/2.

Then you rest it and turn it back on.

Conversion requires a flux capacitor pn# 0021-8675-309-92.8-9

None of that for me.
I just pop the fries in the "rotisserie basket" that came with my "Pampered Chef" air fryer.
I can't fit 2 lbs in there, but 1 lb will cook up to perfection in about 15 minutes. Works great for "home fries" too.

We have the R2-D2 Foodi and the 5-1 XL Ninja Grill with the built-in temperature probe...I usually just put 2 handfuls of frozen fries/tots in AC 12 minutes. Pull some out because my wife likes them right on the edge of soggy and brown. Leave the rest in for a few more minutes. Easy Peasy. Haven't used our oven in years.

Made Outback steaks the other night. Set it to 6...done perfectly. Baked potatoes in the other for 35 minutes.

Outback Seasoning

1/2 tsp Coriander, ground
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
1 tsp Cayenne pepper
2 tsp Paprika, ground
2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Turmeric, ground

Use this a base recipe. I triple it and store it.

If I'm feeling ambitious I'll make the French Onion soup and Bloomin' Onion in them as well. That's usually for family. PITA...but we're all drinking soo...
