I recently purchased La Gloria Cubana serie R maduro's on cigar bid and they came with sweetened tips. AWFUL!! I emailed them twice and no response. How do I get this rectified? there was no mention of sweetened tips on the description.

You could search key terms likeLa Gloria Serie R sweetened, but it'd be easier to click the link Palama provided. He's not cbid historian just for his pretty face.

I don't think you'll get much from customer service on this one given evidence of their responsiveness lately

FWIW, I bought a ten pack of them and found that if you aggressively cut the cap/end off, it removes most of the sweetened tip, leaving a mostly enjoyable cigar.

Got some series r with sweet tip. Cap is extremely sweet. Tasted after removing. I like the cigars when modified.

Would be a fan if not for this issue.
