I did a very good friend ( also a cigar smoker ) a favor that helped him out of a jam. The favor only cost me several hours time but no money. He wanted to pay me for my time as it involved my professional business expertise in the industry I was in before retirement. I would not take a penny. He then reminded me that the last time I was over his house I was admiring the following new purchases he had just made & insists I take either box.
A box of 20 Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente 4 1/2 X 50 Maduro &
A box of 20 Villigar Exclusivo USA Robusto 5 X 52.
He is pressuring me to make a decision & won’t let go of this.
Both are cigars I enjoy.
Just wondering, which one would you take?

Will he split? That way you could have both. So could he.

If he truly appreciated you he'd give you both boxes and not put you through such turmoil

Jk, take the Fuentes.
Never had a villager but it sounds like a gas station smoke.

I find when I except cigar gratuities from clients I tend to gift back some goodies from my own stash.
More satisfying to give than receive

I like you always treated my clients better then they treated me. I guess that was part of the deal. Like I said he is a great long time friend & not a client.

I think I am going to take the Fuente’s.

The regular Fuente Maduro line is boring and generic compared to the Villiger Exclusivo USA! Only smoked one of them but it was a very nice smoke.
