I love having good tools, especially from the USA, Germany, Japan and even Taiwan.

Wiha, Wega, Tank, Felo, Bondus and others. Specialized tools for wiring, gunsmithing etc. I grew up using what I had and making do but now I am lucky enough to donate some of those old tools* to Habitat for Humanity and replace them with better tools.

* Many I had inherited along with bad juju and memories I'm happy to be without.

Anyway, the point is I've found an excellent small company in Georgia that sells a lot of great tools for great prices.

Yup. Their stuff for gunsmithing isn’t terrible and the wench they offer is actually really good.

This is the comment I came here for….

I used to knock harbor freight, but damn they nice for cheap crap tools that you don’t necessarily care if they get forgotten somewhere or if they get stolen….. put together a tool box for my semi for around 100 bucks.

Just buy em from China... let's be real, you know they're just going to sit there collecting dust anyway.

Go to several of your local metal recycling yards...
Make friends with them by recycling free metal you find on trash day or in local construction dumpsters or house cleanout dumpsters ..scope out what other people throw away on the piles when you dump off your metal ..

After a few months of that ..
Ask them if you could BUY STUFF OFF THE PILE FROM THEM....and agree NOT TO CLIMB ON THE PILE...

YOU WILL BE AMAZED AND ALL THE WORKING POWER TOOLS GHAT GET THROWN AWAY...ALL THE VINTANGE HAND TOOLS AND POWER TOOLS THAT get thrown away...
You will get hooked on scrapping and super cheap tool buying from the scrap yard...
