So if all they need is wind...... nah, too easy. Low hanging fruit and all that.

Anyone else get self-conscious when my wife refers to your sack as low hanging fruit? I know I do...

Enjoy!

in CA....nobody's laughing at the power grid mess in Texas....

we're waiting for the hammer to drop while the mercury rises...

ironic that some peeps fled CA for Texas because of the droughts, fires and electrical issues here...

Many people only think about roads, bridges and such when thinking of infrastructure. The sad truth is our electrical grid is in even worse shape.

Oh but we have progress, blame it on mother nature not the nature of the mother.

We need a few well placed nuclear power plants. The country does... not just CA or TX.

We need more solar and wind power because it’s damn near impossible to build a real power plant.

We are having a conserve power day in California today. My AC is on 72 degrees.

Mine is at 77 and I got a fan on me.

Ever see the ginormous wind farm in Riverside county on the 10 freeway between Cabazon and Whitewater? Yeah... we're still sucking for power and it's expensive as f---.

I drove through there once with a brand new car. It was so windy that it sandblasted my car and I had some paint chips.

Well we had no outages........all speculation. Some managers took extreme ass chewing for still having generators down for service since March.I suspect several will be kicking rocks in the next few days.

We as Texans have learned a very valuable lesson.......wind is good til the wind doesn't blow, solar is good til the sun don't shine, coal, natural gas and nuclear is the way to go.All that green schit is fine mixed in when conditions are right........but when it isn't you need a capable grid to carry the load.I see several more generation plants in the future for Texas.
