Of course to any racist bastards who might exist here my apologies! We are throwing a get together for the neighborhood today. Good eats, good drinks, good smokes, and good friends!

Is anyone else here doing anything special today to honor the end of slavery?

Heading to the city for the San Francisco Giants versus the Phillies.

The Giants will be wearing commemorative uniforms of the San Francisco Sea Lions to mark the 75th anniversary of the West Coast Negro Baseball Association team.

Did anyone great play for the sea lions?

Nope. The league only lasted for one season in 1946.

Since we still have socialism, slavery isn’t dead in America.

Buck O'Neil Is one of my favorite people ever. Met him a few times. Man among men. Google audio or video of why Satchel Paige called him Nancy. You have to hear him tell the story. (Unrelated but also google and listen to George Bretts diarrhea story lol…again you have to here Brett tell it.

Buck was a national treasure and what the baseball hall of fame did is shameful. First not bringing him in then doing it so visibly after his passing. Shame on them.

The negro league museum is pretty cool and if you time it right you might meet Morris Day, Jade Rose, and gobble sausages.

I will gladly wear my Monarchs hat every Juneteenth. And it’s spelled correct to the tradition of the population who’s lived with it since the 1800s.

This has a version of the Nancy story typed out. Also more on buck. Grandson of slaves. RIP my friend.

I can not say this clearly enough. Buck O’Neil is someone who doesn’t know me although we’ve met a couple times. But I feel like I know him and he’s had a profound impact on my life and truly how I think.

I can only say that about a handful of people in my life.

Happy belated Juneteenth Buck. Very belated like most things you should have seen in your lifetime.

The gubment says they own us, can boss us around, and take our stuff, so no slavery didn't end, it just transformed into progressivism.
