Scheduled for October 15-16, tickets go on sale this weekend and I’m sure it will be the usual ****show for logging in and trying to get them before selling out in 8 seconds. Price increases will have many second guessing if they want to go or not. Great event, but now that tickets are $250-$400 it ends up being a costly venture once you tack on travel and lodging.

NOTHING could ever beat last year's soiree.

It was AWESOME...Yolanda Medina was flown in with Steve Aoki playing a Cuban streetmix set while she rolled cigars for each attendee. Seeing Wolfgang Puck and Emeril Legasse get into a spat over Clarified butter vs Garlic Ghee for toasting the Parisian baguettes for their signature Po' Boys was funny...especially the way Wolfgang was waving knives and in an effort to get him reigned in Emeril kept "Bam"ing him with his wonderful spices. When Rodolfo Padrón gave that seminar you could hear a pin drop. Those sampler packs were some of the tastiest cigars I've ever had. I really wish they would release the "A07" blend. Imagine a chocolate dipped '64...with toasted almonds...that's what it was like. A real dessert cigar if you will. To fire the crowd back up it was Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters delivering a powerhouse set of every song you'd ever want them to play. The encore was when Pat Smear started the first guitar rumblings of "Territorial Pissings" and the band broke into it...stopped all of a sudden...and Trish with trays of Jigglers were raised up from the stage floor. The laser light extravaganza, the confetti and flame pots...while the Foos played David Rose's "The Stripper" enticing Trish to move it move it and then when everyone had one in hand we all raised it up and downed it the band fell back into "Territorial Pissings"...EPIC! Then there was Andrew W.K. doing his DJ stint to wind the party down a bit followed by Pierre Hermé crafting wonderful desserts for each attendee with Duff Goldman (who had a few, let me tell you!) translating for him but we weren't so sure he was doing a great job of it as Pierre would raise an eyebrow or 2...so I guess he just didn't feel like having to repeat himself in broken English. Capped off with an open bar and the Dropkick Murphy's it was a real great event. The swag bags we all got as we boarded the plane to go home...nobody dared open them on the plane...we were too busy laughing and reliving the whole shebang. Covid Shomvid...CBid dropped the hammer and membership has it's privilages!

Not sure if the increased prices turned people off or what, but surprisingly I got through and scored tickets without a hitch.usually I log in the second they become available and the GA tix are already sold out and I’m forced to buy the VIH or Cigarnut ticket.

CIGARS INTERNATIONAL CANCELS CIGARFEST 2021

Bethlehem, PA (August 13, 2021) – Cigars International announced today that the company is canceling CIGARfest 2021, due to renewed health and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus. Cigars International will refund all event tickets in full by the end of August.

CIGARfest 2021 was scheduled to be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 and Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains.

Sarah Santos, president of Cigars International said, “We found ourselves once again faced with a difficult decision relative to CIGARfest. Given that the CDC recommends wearing masks indoors in high transmission areas, which is impractical for a cigar event,weunfortunately saw no other option than to cancel CIGARfest this year.”

Ticketholders for CIGARfest 2021 will receive refunds through Eventbrite, the ticketing platform used for the event. Refunds will be processed immediately and will be completed by the end of the month. Go to www.CigarFest.com/Cfest for more information.
