You know, the guy could rub noobs the wrong way (me at first admittedly) but he sure knew how to keep the forum entertaining! Never met him but miss the weekend banter when he was around!

We had some pretty good feuds. Didn’t like him initially. Played a character and played it well.

Met he and Nurse Terrie. She worshipped the little chite He was probably 5’9” and 160, but posted like he was 6’7” 325.
First thing he said to me…. You’re tall.

Enjoyed food, drink and cigars for several hours. A more than decent dude.

He did bring some of the North Mexico flare. Maybe it was the rhinestones.

Anybody know how Or what Nurse Terrie is doing? She was a pretty woman with class and sass.

Bill...what can I say that hasn't been said?

I miss him terribly.

I miss the side conversations that we had here that infuriated most of you...we would laugh at that...all anyone needs to know is that he loved his country, loved his Family and treated those that knew him with the dignity that he deserved.

May he rest in peace and know that the FOGS that knew him miss him dearly. He was a man amongst men and lived it for you to remember.

To his family that might see this post..know that I share your grief and I look forward to seeing and hearing him again.

Titties and mixed drinks...and goofing on democrats when I see you...keep a barstool open.

RIP Wheelrite...Bill...Father..and friend.

This was the fun part of the year to screw with him over his beloved Aggies.

Yep, he is missed and RIP.

I wonder how little Wheel is fairing. Seems like he enlisted in the Navy.

Couldn't have said it better. I loved fighting with wheelrite. I loved talking and laughing with Bill. One of my biggest regrets was NOT going to Green Bay for the Packers/Cowboys game. I never got to shake his hand and spend time with him in person. We were in the process of making plans to meet up when he passed. I miss the North Mexican **** and always will.

Yeah,,,,

He and I didn't overlap as long as many of you here, but he's definitely a big player in the history here.

Really miss wheelrite and Bill. And yes, they were really two different people. Never met him in person, but we talked many times in the phone. I regret not making the Dallas herf so we could have met in person. Talked to him about a week before he died. He has just gotten a clean bill of health from his cardiologist about a week prior only to die of a heart attack two weeks later.

That’s because he was taller than you….

Bill always made me think of the stereotypical Texan with a hat, except he wouldn’t wear one because it might embarrass him or make him lose his hair. He lost a bet with me here once and after about 2 months I decided I could start harassing him. I didn’t really need/want the 5 pack. I was happy I got to laud it over him. That didn’t last long. But we started texting after that and spoke on the phone on occasion, and that was a gift (especially compared to the 5 pack).

Hope Terrie is well, I was tempted to reach out when she posted but it didn’t seem like the right thing to do but I think about her every time I think of Bill.

Although I never spoke with him, Bill and I exchanged a few e-mails about a year before he passed. He had posted something about being a big fan of The Rolling Stones so I PM’d him, offering to burn some (bootleg / ROIO) CDs with shows he had attended. Regretfully I never got around to converting the files and sending him the CDs.

RIP Wheel.

Wheel and MJ Toal were the clown princes here back in November 2011, when I joined up...

they both teamed up on me over one of my early posts...I kinda took it personally at first, but pretty soon after I kept posting, they gave me some words of encouragement and actually posted "hehe" over something I typed...altho we never met, that's when I knew I was in...

you are missed, my friend
