Government is destroying our country. Now that I stand back and examine, our 2 party system is broken beyond repair. Our government doesn't care about people. People though do care about people.

In the end, does our government ever make choices based on the needs of the people?

The government represented by the regime in majority power doesn't make choices for the general welfare, it makes choices to increase its own power and wealth and the power and wealth of the special interests that support the regime, disregarding the ruin it is inevitably bringing on the republic.

Thomas Jefferson predicted the path that government would take in a letter to Nathaniel Macon in 1821.
He was proven right over and over again as power has become more centralized in D.C.
