This question has been debated since the late ‘80s and will probably go on for eons. Not a matter if you like or dislike the movie, just your take on whether or not it fits into the Christmas movie genre.

Unequivocally, yes

Family - the story of an estranged couple learning to set aside their differences and find love again with just a little help for m an armed group of elves... umm thieves

Redemption - police officer overcomes past trauma to defend said couple with a righteous shoot on a vengeful zombie elf... umm thief previously thought deceased who by the way was also dressed kinda like Santa at one point

There was a Xmas party with Xmas music and everything

The girl's name was Holly for chrissakes

Snow in LA!!! A Festivus miracle!!!

P.S. Bah humbug

P.P.S. who the heck hasn't seen this yet?!?!? Currently available for free on Amazon Prime and for rent on YouTube, Apple TV, Google Play, and Vudu. Also probably in DVD format at several local pawn shops

No. It is not.

Unless the Battle of the Bulge movie was a Christmas movie.

The battle/movie starts before, during, and after Christmas.

Thank you. Thank you very much

Even though some heathens apparently don't accept my perfectly well reasoned arguments

If you vote no on this odds are you like kale salad (tossed), watching Will and Grace, going to farmers markets with your life partner, and eating waffles at your communist meetings.
