So wanted to book a show to see the Blue Man Group in Boston. Pretty entertaining show and a night out. I've seen them a couple times over the years, once with friends, once with the kids when they were young.

Was talking with another friend who hasn't seen them so I booked a set of tickets. Me, my two kids and two friends. You can only get them via TicketMaster... $19/ticket processing fees.

At least lube me up while getting ass franked on a 20% surcharge for the "pleasure" of buying tickets from you. (Franking hate TicketMaster).

I've seen the same with stub hub and vivid. It's an industry wide gangbang. Rarely see venues sell tickets directly anymore

It is a superspreader event. They did you a favor.

I attended many an exclusive event due to my friend’s father’s affiliation with the ticket scalping conglomerate.
I therefore must plead the fifth…

Irritated on the processing fees and crap... but it's just money.

It will be well worth it in spades (is that racist?) to see a couple kids have a night that they'll remember forever. One of the kids going will be Steven (aka Rainman) - friend of mine has an Autistic kid who is, no lie, just like Rainman... the kid knows numbers like nobody's business. Ask him "Steven, what day of the week is Sept 14, 2022"... he pauses... computing... "September 14, 2022 is a Wednesday."

I try to screw with him but he's batting 1.000 every time I try to trip him for the past 2 years I've known him. Sometimes I think he's BSing me but if I Google it so far he's not been wrong. Plus, I broke out my old Wii game system the past couple of weeks. Fraking kid never played Wii bowling before but his average is like 288 last time I checked.

When I have any appointments, I tell him "Steven remind me that I have a dental cleaning XXX" day. It could be 6 months down the road and I completely forgot about it but he reminds me two days in advance. "Craig.. you have a dental cleaning on XXX day at YYY time."

Franking amazing 30 yr old kid with an amazing mind. The human brain is the most advanced system ever created on this planet.

I like to think that I'm smart but he has some mental abilities that I will never achieve yet some folks call him handicapped.

Well, if you've ever seen the Blue Man group, they give out plastic sheets for the front few rows so they can cover themselves from being splashed by the paint and stuff. Rona dies from splash paint and stuff.

Then toward the end of the show they do bubbles and toilet paper and stuff. Rona doesn't like bubbles and toilet paper either.

I think I'll be safe since we will be protected by a mask maybe and toilet paper and bubbles and stuff.

If not, I'll hang out with MACS in purgatory and wait for my number to be called. Hope he was allowed to bring some Cubans, a deck of cards and a cribbage board along because it might be a long wait.
